1 On the Net

Most of my projects are now on github!

  • Daves Double Plugins
Written as an experiment in direct SSE2/3 programming, these are effectively obsoleted by modern hardware and the excellent calf-plugins. I still kind of like the sound of the EQ I wrote and the knobs it had, but it's fallen into disuse.

2 Not on the net

  • The Montavista Graphics build system
I was really proud of this one. It let me build a LOT of code, REALLY REALLY fast. Regretably I was never allowed to release it - and things like bitbake and openwrt's build system(s) are in general superior now.
  • Lots of patches
FAR TOO MANY TO LIST! I have a terrible tendency to make something that works for me… And not share it. I am glad that git has become a universal source code management system, and I pledge to reform myself.
  • Squeezeslave
Under contract I upgraded the popular squeezeslave audio client to use 32 bit audio decoding paths throughout. Regrettably, the modifications were so extensive that there seemed to be no way to get it back into the mainline. Tracking the mainline proved to be a problem, and in the end I felt continuing to work on GPLed code in a non-gpled fashion was a waste of time.

3 Under active development

  • Ardour translations
  • Tranzport and Alphatrack drivers
  • Cryptolist
